Dr. Maria Saketos is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Dr. Saketos is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Long Island School of Medicine. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Medical Center in 1990, and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in 1992.
Dr. Saketos’ articles have appeared in Fertility & Sterility, Clinical Chemistry, and Biology of Reproduction. Her areas of special interests include female and male infertility, in vitro fertilization, elective egg freezing, fertility preservation for patients with cancer, and third party reproduction. She also treats patients with conditions such as anovulation, polycystic ovarian syndrome, decreased ovarian reserve, premature ovarian failure, tubal blockage, endometriosis and recurrent pregnancy loss.
